How To Create a Personal Elevator Pitch (For Sales or Marketing Candidates & For Interviews)

If You are Interviewing for junior SDR roles or AE sales (quota carrying sales / closer) roles, you need to have a Personal Elevator Pitch.  Here are the key 7 things I recommend to all candidates to help them create their own Personal Elevator Pitch when they come in to interview for any of my teams.

You’ll be ready to provide a succinct summary when someone says “tell me about yourself”:

  1. Who are you?
  2. What do you do?
  3. For whom you do it / what types of companies?
  4. How do they benefit ?
  5. Why it matters?
  6. What is unique about YOU?
  7. What job do you want or what you want to do and why?
